Over the last year our Cubs have enjoyed fantastic trips and activities, represented the Group at events right across the district and collected a mountain of badges. It has been a brilliant year to be a Cub!
Trips and activities
We started the year with a visit to Clip 'n Climb in Edinburgh, followed by a Sixers' and Seconders' Skills Development Camp. During the summer we also took a trip to the Glasgow Science Centre.
Representing the Group
But that's not all! We have proudly represented the Group at many District and Group events, including:
- 🏃 The District Sports Day
- 🐉 St George's Day celebrations
- ⛺ District Cub Camp
- 🎺 The parade at the Livingston Village Gala Day
Cub section update
Back in the hall, our Cubs have been busy developing new skills and working towards gaining badges. Since the start of the year we have awarded 285 badges across a wide range of topics, including Adventure, World Challenge, Artist, Fire Safety, Home Safety, Entertainer, Paddle Sports, Nights Away, Chef, and many more.
The year ahead
The year ahead is looking very exciting, with more camps, activities and visits already being planned. We are very fortunate to have so many enthusiastic Cubs eager to attend each week. To help maximise both enjoyment and safety within the Section, we have split the Pack into two groups.
