We're 14th West Lothian Scout Group - giving young people aged 4 to 18 the chance to explore, discover and grow through Scouting in Livingston.
From tiny Squirrels to Explorer Scouts, we have a place for everyone to belong, grow and thrive.

Our youngest adventurers! Squirrels explore through play, stories and activities designed for curious little minds. This year we awarded 12 Chief Scout's Acorn Awards and met the firefighters at Livingston Fire Station!

Beavers dive into adventure every Monday! From learning CPR to meeting owls and building bug hotels - and 200 badges earned this year alone.

Cubs build big skills through camps, climbing and creative challenges. Recent highlights include Clip 'n Climb, a Skills Development Camp and a trip to the Glasgow Science Centre - plus 285 badges earned!

Scouts take on real challenges - orienteering, Pentland Hills expeditions and a 20km cycle. This year two Scouts earned their Chief Scout's Gold Award and the troop was represented at the Blair Atholl Jamborette.

Our Howlers Explorers go further - this year brought a Nerf War sleepover, the Brass Monkey camp, wild camping in the Pentlands and the Blair Atholl Jamborette. Friday nights, Murieston.
Just a taste of the incredible things our young people and leaders have been doing across the 14th.
Our Explorers kicked off the overnight season with the District Explorer Nerf War and sleepover - bouncing, a not-so-fiercely contested Nerf battle, a film and rather less sleeping than planned!
Our Explorers and two Scouts joined young people from across Scotland and overseas at Blair Atholl, enjoying water sports, climbing, bushcraft and friendships with Scouts and Explorers from 14 countries.
Explorers spent two days hiking and two nights wild camping in the Pentlands to practise for their Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, while a group of Scouts earned their Expedition Challenge Badge.
Our Beavers and Scouts learned CPR with St John, and our Beavers donated 88kg (211 meals) to the Food Bank - real skills and real community spirit.
Across the group we have awarded 24 Chief Scout Awards - 12 Acorn, 10 Bronze and two Gold - and more than 680 badges between our sections.
From Clip 'n Climb and Glasgow Science Centre to Five Sisters Zoo, Livingston Fire Station and the Police Station - every week brings something new!
Scouting develops young people in ways that matter - on adventures and in everyday life.
Young people make lifelong friends and learn to work as part of a team.
Facing new challenges builds confidence, determination and a growth mindset.
Camping, hiking and outdoor adventures foster a love of the natural world.
International Jamborees and community projects develop empathy and awareness.
From fire-lighting to first aid - real skills young people can use for life.
